Just a heads up, the rating system has been changed from a 1 to 10 scale, to a 1 to 4 scale.
The reason for this change is because we found that a 1 to 10 scale is not really necessary.
When rating anything in a trading journal, traders usually only want to know two things:
- Good or bad
- How good or bad (one degree)
For example, if you are rating your entry, then this is how a 1 to 4 rating scale would work:
- Should not have taken this trade
- Made major entry errors, but this entry is barely acceptable
- Made minor entry errors, but good entry overall
- Perfect entry
This greatly simplifies the rating process and is another way that we are constantly refining RazorJournal to give you the most streamlined journaling process possible.
On the trades page, you will also see that a Follow Up rating of 3 or 4 will be green, and a score of 1 or 2 will be red.
Sorry for any confusion, but we feel that this is the best way to go, moving forward.
You can choose to update your previous scores if you would like. But there aren't currently any metrics that use this score, so if you have a lot of trades, you probably want to keep the old scores the way they are.
